Hackers using Twitpic, a South Carolina service that lets people trade pictures via Twitter, posted fake reports that Britney Spears and other celebrities died over the weekend.

The problem did not directly involve San Francisco-based Twitter, said Charleston, S.C.-based Twitpic Inc. on its company blog Monday. Twitpic isn’t owned by Twitter.

Michael Jackson's former pet, and animal actor, Bubbles, a chimpanzee, was born at a biomedical research facility in Austin, Texas, in 1983. Jackson bought Bubbles when he was a young chimp, and the chimp lived at Neverland and was trained by Bob Dunn.

According to E.I. Rottersman with Florida Weekly, Bubbles was removed from Neverland when he grew too big. He was moved to the trainer's California home and compound. But in 2005 when Mr. Dunn retired from animal training he sent all his apes, including Bubbles, to the Center for Great Apes.

A Florida radio station has been in a spot of bother with young Britney Spears and her lawyers, mainly due to the fact that they used a big picture of her during her recent snarly shaved-head phase for comical effect on a bunch of billboards. Which actually quite worries hecklerspray: if the lawyers are cracking down on people who find Britney's insanity hilarious, then we're pretty much up shit creek without a paddle. Or canoe. Or water wings.

Troubled pop star Britney Spears has hinted at her dislike of heiress Paris Hilton.
Spears, who was recently spotted out shopping in LA after a brief trip to Mexico, did not single out Hilton by name, however, she does refer to unhealthy friendships she acquired after her split from Kevin Federline.

In a message on her site, Spears wrote: "Being in that vulnerable state and taken to dinners and parties with friends and finding out later you paid for everything was a huge learning lesson for me.

"You never know another persons intentions or what another person wants. I feel I was too open and looking for answers when I had it all to begin with."
Spears and Hilton, who is currently serving a jail term for a driving violation, were often seen out partying right after the pop star's break up.
After just a few weeks of wild partying together their friendship quickly cooled, and they have not been seen together since.
Spears later endured a very public meltdown, in which she shaved her head before eventually checking into rehab.
Spears added: "I think the whole problem was letting too many people into my life. I have had to cut so many people out of my life."

Pamela Bach says keeping ex-husband David Hasselhoff's alcoholism a secret was the "glue" holding their family together.

Hasselhoff filed for divorce in January 2006 shortly after Bach left for their Christmas vacation without him because he was reportedly too drunk to board the flight.

Bach admits she often took the couple's two daughters, Taylor-Ann, 17, and Hayley, 14, away from Hasselhoff in a bid to convince him to get sober.

She told Hello! magazine: "We went home without him and when he got back we didn't see him. He went from hotel to hotel and ended up in hospital with alcohol poisoning.

Bach claims Hasselhoff rushed into filing for divorce after he heard she had been looking for a lawyer.
She said: "I asked around for a good attorney. I wasn't going to get a divorce, I just wanted to get educated. Then I got a call saying David's filing for divorce. It was like he wanted to beat me to it, even though I wasn't at that point."
Despite their bitter split, Bach has admitted she will always love the actor.

Paris Hilton’s Prison Panic Button

She's been praying that her jail sentence be amended to something other than… well… jail, but a panic button seems to be the best that Paris Hilton's going to get. The heiress, spotted out in LA toting a self-help book called The Power Of Now along with - get this - The Holy Bible, seems to be flip-flopping her image in a last ditch attempt for a little pity and protection.

According to Life Style, Paris' complaining has ended up leading to a little bit of sympathy. Apparently, someone found it a good idea to arm Paris with a "panic device giving her a 24-hour link to prison guards in case she encounters trouble when she begins her prison sentence next month."

The jail's spokesman Steve Whitmore had previously stated that Ms Hilton would "be treated like any other inmate who's classified as a low-level security risk."

Despite this statement, Paris gets her 24-hour alarm and will be kept in the prison's 'special needs' unit, which is reserved for high-profile inmates.

With only two weeks left, Paris has said that she's "really scared" to report to the Century Regional Detention Center in suburban Lynwood, California on June 5. Once there, she will spend about three weeks behind bars - only half of her original 45 day sentence.

Britney Spears lip-synched her way through Florida this weekend and many wonder if she can really sing. But it really won't matter. The fans in Orlando and Miami ate it up and loved Britney even when the CD skipped. But Britney also had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction where her bra popped open. But unlike her no panties parade, Britney had it covered.

Her breasts that is. She had another bra on underneath. People Magazine gives this report: Whipping her blonde extensions in every direction while on stage, Spears was so into her dance moves that her bejeweled bra came undone and revealed the pink one underneath.

The report: Looking flustered, Spears held her beaded bra with one hand and tried to keep singing, only to run off the stage eventually – flashing a smile as she made the hasty retreat – and let her backup dancers finish the song.
After about a three minutes, Spears returned, and a fellow from the audience was brought on stage and seated in a chair – as Spears danced provocatively for him. Her outfit: the pink bra, a black, lace-up bustier, black hot pants with fuchsia jewels on them, and nude fishnets with white go-go boots.
From these reports, it appears that Britney has basically morphed into to a stripper in her mid-twenties that doesn't take off her clothes.
