Michael Jackson's former pet, and animal actor, Bubbles, a chimpanzee, was born at a biomedical research facility in Austin, Texas, in 1983. Jackson bought Bubbles when he was a young chimp, and the chimp lived at Neverland and was trained by Bob Dunn.According to E.I. Rottersman with Florida Weekly, Bubbles was removed from Neverland when he grew too big. He was moved to the trainer's California home and compound. But in 2005 when Mr. Dunn retired from animal training he sent all his apes, including Bubbles, to the Center for Great Apes.
